Rosie Sendher MD,


Dr. Sendher is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia with degrees from the University of British Columbia in Pharmacology & Therapeutics maintaining an honors standing.

She continued her studies at the University of British Columbia and obtained both my Doctorate in Medicine as well as a Masters Degree in Health Care and Epidemiology. She completed residency training at the University of British Columbia Family Medicine program.

Her passion however lives in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Sendher completed her orthopedic surgery training at the Queens University Orthopedic Surgery Residency program (2007-2011). She continued surgical training with fellowships at Stanford University (Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery) and Queens University (Orthopedic Trauma Surgery; Upper/Lower Extremity Trauma (Adult and Pediatric)).

At Stanford University, Dr. Sender approached a wide breadth of hand and upper extremity cases reaching from the common to widely complex.

She has co-written two book chapters, one on distal radius fractures (ASSH textbook of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery) and one on scaphoid fractures (Orthopedic Clinics of North America) .

When not treating patients, she is an avid surfer. In addition, she enjoys world traveling and have traveled extensively and lived abroad.
